déjà vu of 92 BOX is Over!
It is not the end of the Cricket World Cup, those who will work better will surely be in the race for getting this mighty cup.
But those who believed in the stupidity of deja vu, it's time to come back in real-time and check our flaws as Luck is totally a different element than hard work.
Leave our starting four matches, just talk about these two matches: Pak vs Afg & Pak vs Ban.
At the time of our match against Afghanistan, we were already at the "do or die" stage because this was our ONLY chance of maintaining the required run rate for keeping our hopes alive. Rather we won like we were playing against a team who was not defeated even once. Why the hell we were relying upon other team's win or lose? More specifically speaking, about England. What made us believed that this team will lose one of its matches for sure?
We wasted our one and the only opportunity for maintaining required run rate and irony of fate was seen in the mid of Eng vs Nwz match where we were praying for New Zealand's victory and all of sudden we took our national U-Turn and prayed for England's victory by a significant margin.
Now, we have just finished our match against Bangladesh and congratulations to"92's still dreamers", yes we won. But please, be honest, did you even watched the second half of the match? At least I never did because I already knew we had to at least make 400 or above, to overcome New Zealand's run-rate and we ended up putting just 315 runs target on the scoreboard.
Cheers! We have another World Cup after 4 years!
And we all will be back with another stupid scenario of deja vu...
WERE YOU ALL FROM PSL?
I am sorry I did not recognize who they were? Were they the same players from PSL?
But wait... what was that? Hardly they were able to put up a total sum of 105 runs to chase? Such a big disappointment they all brought to us. It was a real shame to watch such performance by recently Champions trophy crowned cricket team.
Blame, as always, goes completely to badly organized and extremely weak batting line. It's fine if your top orders can not make it to the mark but what about middle order? Okay, we swallowed the fact that batsmen can not bat well but then let me ask one simple question, to whom we should have expectations of batting from?
A money raining event of PSL was like all efforts in vain. If the start was this fantastic bombardment of shame what else can we hope next?
I am sorry I can not be optimistic right now. I mean, really this was all you had to show? We were passionately watching the match despite fasting and so was a crowd in the stadium but I can definitely feel the pain they would be feeling.
Okay... there is one more fact to the situation, when two teams face each other, one is ultimately supposed to lose. But again... is this the way to lose? There was not even a slight space of fighting spirit shown by our batsmen.
I would say put Imam back to home, Fakhar and Babar are fine. Even Hafeez is fine but not sure what Imad can bring to us? Kindly seriously consider the batting line order. But I know, nothing will come out properly. I do not know if they have stadium-phobia or what? I would suggest bringing back Ahmed Shehzad even if he is an actor but at least better than Imam. One more fact to put our concern on what has happened to you captain?
Pakistan is paying money over lost matches, at least we need justification for their this legendary performance.
PSL 4 is running smoothly like every other previous season despite all sorts of hurdles being created by hostile parties across the subcontinental region.
In every season, whenever Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmis face each other, I try my best to put aside every other task and watch the ball to ball coverage.
From season 1, encounters of these two teams are watched eagerly by every PSL lover. Both teams put up a strong show for their crowd in the stadium. Admirable rivalry among these teams is a perfect delight to watch.
SURVEY & ONLINE POLLING
In a survey, it has been reported that 88% of PSL audience voted to watch a match between Zalmis and Gladiators in preference to others. Both Pakistani and foreign audiences were surveyed.
According to online polling in facebook, it was shockingly revealed that after Pakistan the highest watching audience of PSL is among Indians who also voted for Zalmis vs Gladiators as their favorite PSL match.
Once again we have been standing on the same stage, where our favorite teams have reached in the Finals. I bet the winning team will be loved equally as the non-winning team.
Let's see who wins the match and who wins the heart!
Cheers
AHMED SHEHZAD - THE NEYMAR OF CRICKET
Ahmed Shehzad - Neymar |
Those who watch both cricket and football will get my point in real terms.
Acting is something different from playing yet it is no surprise at all that somehow both of these deliver related meanings of the same sense. For me, actors are those who play their roles well.
Have you ever thought of a person who fits this definition?
Well I guess not only literature-loving people will answer it quickly but sports fans will also be having someone in their minds.
Football fans will quickly answer with Neymar. Although no doubt he is one of the best players of today however he is also popular with his dramatic acting skills.
Cricket fans should not feel so bad about not cheering up for such fun. They have Ahmed Shezad.
Ahmed Shehzad like Neymar is a fabulous player who has got magnificent skills to deliver in sports.
Yet he is no less than a drama and Selfie King.
PSL 4 - tonight's match between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings again proved that my speculations are not just assumptions. He quite loves such creation of a bit drama that adds flavor to our boredom. Like he did with his famous catch drop.
Can you name such other player who fits this category?
IF YOU CAN... then
Cheers!
Ye to h... hahaha... good one!
